In faith we took our first step on this path 14 years ago in March of 2006, meeting at Ft. Lemons. In 2011 we acquired our first building on 13th street. Growth sees us here in 2018… please join us on this journey.

What we Believe

We, at the Church of the Living God believe: In the one true God, the creator of heaven and earth. We believe the bible to be the Inerrant, Inspired Word of God. We believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that he was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, in the gospel he preached, the miracles he performed, His atoning death, his resurrection, his ascension into heaven and to the Father.

We believe that in order to save man and Redeem him from his sin, God sent His Son, Jesus, to shed His blood on the Cross and to die in our place. To receive Salvation, we have to repent for our sins and receive the Lord Jesus into our hearts by faith.

We believe in the Holy Ghost, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, and that it is given as a comforter to those who receive the Lord into their lives, to help reprove sin, to Empower the Believer to Good Works, and to lead and Guide them into all truth.

We believe in Full Immersion Water Baptism, in the Name of Jesus.

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and is made up of all the Believers that have been born again into the Kingdom of God, regardless of Ethnicity, Nationality, or Denomination.

We believe in Jesus’ Great Commission in Mark 16:15 of going into all the world, and Preaching the Gospel to every creature with the spirit of true humility and abounding love, in the demonstration of the power of God, exhibiting the Gifts, which are Governed by the Fruits of the Spirit, setting the captives free by Faith in the Word, and by the Eternal Blood of Jesus Christ which was shed for us.

Our Mission

We will submit our lives as Romans 12:1 declares, which is our reasonable service. And we pattern our Church after that, that Jesus declares in Matthew 22:37-39: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and great Commandment And the second IS LIKE UNTO IT, Thou shalt Love thy neighbor as thyself." We will consecrate, and dedicate ourselves to advancing the kingdom of God on earth, doing whatever, whenever He requires. And we will accomplish all this through the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for the glory of our Almighty God. For we are the church.
